#HITB1337Giveaway – Money for Nothing and Your Tweets are Free

October 1st, Kuala Lumpur: Following the success of the first #HITB1337Giveaway held in conjunction with HITBSecConf2013 – Amsterdam, Hack In The Box is now bringing this popular Twitter-based contest to Malaysia, offering contestants a chance to join some of the world’s greatest hackers, makers, breakers and builders in Kuala Lumpur for the 11th annual Hack In The Box Security Conference taking place later this month.

Open to anyone aged 18 years or older, contestants must first follow @HITBSecConf on Twitter. Thereafter, entries to the competition can be submitted by tweeting the link http://conference.hitb.org/1337kul.html with the #HITB2013KUL or #HITB1337Giveaway hashtag in a single tweet. They can also use both #HITB2013KUL and #HITB1337Giveaway hashtag in a single tweet as an alternate entry.

“Each tweet counts as a single entry for the contest and there are no limits to the number of times a participant can tweet. Winners will be chosen from a random draw, thus the more times you tweet and your followers re-tweet you, the more entries you generate and the higher the chances of winning,” said Dhillon Andrew Kannabhiran, Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Hack In The Box

The winner of #HITB1337Giveaway walks away with an access-all-areas VIP TICKET to the triple track conference on the 16th & 17th of October plus a VIP invite to the exclusive HITB post conference party held at Marini’s on 57 on the evening of the 17th. In addition, HITB is also giving the winner USD1,337 to help with travel expenses.

The competition officially starts Tuesday 1st October @ 13:37 MYT and ends Thursday, 10th October @ 13:37 MYT. Winners will be announced Friday, 11th October via @HITBSecConf
