Finalized Agenda and Some Presentations to Whet Your Appetite

The finalized #HITB2013KUL agenda has been published. A PDF download is also available. Here’s a small snapshot of some of the awesome talks we have lined up for you:

Transport Security

Privacy & Social Networking

Wireless Technology Abuse

Apple iOS/OS X Security

_________

Looking for stuff to do between talks? Head over to the CommSec Village where representatives from Microsoft, Rapid7, OWASP, Mozilla and Facebook (to name a few) will be at and also where the TOOOL Lock Picking Village is located. Got a lock from home you think is secure? Learn how to test it yourself!

You could also pop your head in to #HackWEEKDAY, where developers from across Asia will be hacking away over a 24 hour period starting at 13:37 on the 16th of Oct. They’ve even got Firefox phones to play with! Still not enough? Go watch some hackers do some real hacking in the Capture The Flag War of the World competition. With our usual attack and defense set up, ten teams from across Asia and Europe will be competing for not only bragging  rights but USD3500 in cash!

Still haven’t registered? Might want to get moving on that - prices for conference tickets increase to MYR1499 after the 25th of Sept!

So how are we capping off  2 days of pwnf00 madness? With a party at Marini’s on 57. Located at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers (KLCC), Marini’s  is currently one of the swankiest venues in Kuala Lumpur and they’re letting US in! Kicking off at 21:30 and ending late, the party features 4 DJs from world-renown Mile High Sounds. Tickets for the party are now on sale via EventBrite though you can also pick these up on-site at the HITB booth during the conference days (16th / 17th).

Don’t forget to follow @HITBSecConf on Twitter as links to all conference presentation materials will be posted ‘on-the-fly’ immediately after each talk.
