We’re T – 4 months away from our 12th annual HITB Security Conference in Malaysia!
Taking place from the 13th till the 16th of October 2014 at the InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, this will be the last and final HITB Security Conference in Malaysia as we switch to an all new single track format in 2015 we call HITB GSEC. HITBSecConf and the HITB Haxpo series in Amsterdam will continue as usual. We’ll have more details on what exactly HITB GSEC is and why you’re going to want to be there next year in the months ahead.
So what do we have in store for you at HITB2014KUL? 2-days of hands-on technical trainings on the 13th and 14th followed by a triple-track conference on the 15th and 16th keynoted by Richard Thieme and HackerOne’s Chief Policy Officer, Katie Moussouris! The Call for Papers (CFP) runs till the 31st of July (http://cfp.hackinthebox.org/) and the full list of speakers will be announced in the first week of August.
In addition to the training and conference, we will also be hosting the HITB CommSec Village and exhibition area which will be FREE and OPEN TO PUBLIC! The HITB .my CTF Crew 3.0 has been working on an updated attack and defense Capture the Flag as well (details to follow).
