Competition Model

An individual competition where participants compete to solve challenges and earn points.

These points will enable them to rise in the rankings. In the event of a tie in points, the winner will be the participant who earned those points first.

Finally, when the countdown reaches 00:00:00, the competition will end, and the rankings will determine the winner.

 

Scoring System

The competition has a maximum of points, based on the total sum of the sum of each challenge that composes it.

The points for each challenge vary according to its difficulty and category, ranging from 1 to 500 points.

Participants score points by solving the challenges of the competition.

The participant that scores the most points first wins.To solve a challenge, the correct solution must be entered.

Registration / Game Access

 This is an on-site CTF (Capture The Flag) competition where players participate individually. You can register through this link on the button below.

You will receive your registration details from Flagyard via email and will be able to access the event on August 29th (on-site).

Game Schedule

  • he competition will take place over two days, on August 29 and 30.
  • Registration: from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on both days.
  • Day 1: from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Day 2: from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Terms & Conditions

  • General Terms and Conditions:

    • Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter the competition.

    • All participants must abide by the rules and guidelines outlined in this document.

    • Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, including laptops, type-C adapters, and LAN Ethernet cables.

    • This CTF competition is conducted on-site, online participation is not accepted. All participants are required to be physically present at the event venue..


    2. Fair Play:

    • Participants are expected to play the game fairly and ethically. Cheating, hacking, or any form of unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate disqualification.


    3. Individual Participation:

    • The competition is individual. Collaboration or team play is not permitted.


    4. Code of Conduct:

    • Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other players, organizers, and spectators. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.


    5. Equipment and Software:

    • Participants must use their own equipment and software unless provided by the event organizers. Ensure that all software used is legal and ethical.


    6. Player Names and Player Avatars:

    • Player names should be appropriate and not offensive. Organizers have the right to reject or request a name change.

    • Player avatars should not include any offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content. This includes but is not limited to imagery, text, or symbols that may offend or exclude others.

    • Player avatars should not depict any national flags or emblems of countries. This rule helps maintain a neutral and inclusive atmosphere for all participants, regardless of their nationality.

    7. Intellectual Property:

    • Participants should respect the intellectual property rights of the organizers and other participants. Do not use or share copyrighted material without permission.


    8. Privacy:

    • Respect the privacy of other participants and organizers. Do not disclose personal information without consent.


    9. Reporting Issues:

    • Participants should report any technical or rule violations to the event organizers promptly.


    10. Prizes and Rewards:

    • Prizes will be awarded based on the rules and criteria specified by the organizers.


    11. Liability:

    • The organizers are not responsible for any damage to personal equipment, data loss, or injury incurred during the competition.


    12. Event Changes and Cancellation:

    • The event organizers reserve the right to modify the competition rules, schedule, or cancel the event in unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated to participants.


    13. Disqualification:

    • Violation of any of the terms and conditions may result in disqualification. By participating in the Capture the Flag competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. The event organizers have the authority to enforce these rules and make decisions regarding the competition, which will be final and binding.
