Jonathan Andersson is the manager of the Advanced Security Research Group under Trend Micro Research. He has 28 years of experience in software development, electronic design, FPGA & PCB design, and reverse engineering, with expertise in various domains: embedded systems, information security, real-time transaction processing, vulnerability and malware analysis, machine learning, product development and manufacturing, credit card & check processing, optics and pattern recognition systems, image processing, USB storage & media card technology, solar technology, vehicle diagnostic technology, mobile & wireless technology, and software defined radio. He holds 10 US patents and is the inventor of the Capture the Signal contest, an RF-reversing blind signal analysis challenge and learning opportunity for hackers and radio enthusiasts.
